Sign-ups for our photo shoot day on November 3 begin Sunday October 5. Please save the date and plan to have your picture taken at NOCC between 2 and 9:30PM on November 3. Every household will receive a free directory and a chance to purchase photos from Olan Mills.

Come enjoy the Second Annual NOCC Trunk or Treat. This is NOCC's safe and unique way to trick-or-treat! Trunk or Treat provides a safe environment for families to enjoy an inexpensive evening of Halloween fun in a festival atmosphere! Children trick-or-treat by going from car trunk to car trunk to get their bag filled with goodies.

Your presence is urged at a breakfast meeting Saturday June 14 9am to noon as we begin to organize ourselves to focus on three areas of ministry and program for which our newly expanded/beautified facility and grounds have been completed.
We will be forming teams to focus on 1) Ministries with families and children/youth 2) Ministries designed to increase NOCC’s visibility in our community and 3) A ministry of building and grounds care---emphasizing hospitality and presenting ourselves in the best possible light to the thousands of people who pass by our corner each day. Each team will commit to at least a two-year time frame so that solid programmatic foundations can be established. We are aiming for teams of 12-15 people each so many hands might make light work! If we have more people wanting to be involved than this------wow---what a nice problem! So that proper plans can be made please contact the church office by Thursday June 12 to indicate your plans to attend. Child Care will be provided.

All NOCC Members and Friends are invited to participate in a new centering prayer group at NOCC. Centering prayer is a renewed form of an ancient method of silent prayer that moves beyond conversation with Christ to communion. The group will gather at 9AM June 7 and 21 for about an hour. All are welcome to participate. Those who are new to centering prayer will receive instructions and guidelines.
